Color Dash is a razor-thin reflex game built on a brutally simple rule: you are a glowing square, obstacles are glowing squares, and you may only touch the ones that share your colour. The track scrolls toward you through three lanes, your square runs on its own, and your colour changes automatically every couple of seconds — so an obstacle that was perfectly safe a moment ago can turn fatal in an instant. It has the same hypnotic one-more-run pull as the endless-runner greats, distilled to a split-second choice between staying put and swerving into another lane. A neon palette, a warning flash before each colour change, and an unrelenting pace give every run a tight, rhythmic feel, with a locally saved best score to chase.
Your square runs automatically, so you control two things only: which of the three lanes you occupy and which colour you happen to be. Move between lanes with the Up and Down arrows or W and S, swipe up or down on a touch screen, or tap the on-screen Lane buttons. Obstacles scroll toward you in every lane, and you pass safely through any obstacle that matches your current colour — hitting one of a different colour ends the run at once. That means you can survive by switching into an empty or matching lane, or by letting your colour change do the work. Every obstacle you pass scores a point. The hint line flashes 'incoming color change' a beat before your colour swaps, and the speed rises relentlessly, so read the track early and commit.
Both, depending on the moment. Passing through an obstacle whose colour matches yours is safe and scores a point, while touching one of a different colour ends the run. The fastest route is usually to steer into a lane whose incoming wall matches your current colour.
Your colour switches automatically every couple of seconds, always to a different shade, and you cannot change it yourself. The game flashes an 'incoming color change' hint just before each swap, so the real skill is repositioning in that short window.
Yes. Swipe up or down to change lanes on a touch screen, or tap the on-screen Lane buttons. Keyboard players use the Up and Down arrows or W and S, Space starts the run, and R restarts after a game over.
