About Mini Golf

Mini golf — also called putt-putt or crazy golf — takes the precision of golf putting and packs it into a course of playful, obstacle-strewn holes small enough to fit on a tabletop. This browser version serves nine handcrafted holes with real ball physics: friction slows your putt, walls bounce it, bunkers trap it, and water sends you back to the tee. The joy of mini golf lives in the read — judging the perfect angle and power for each shot — and in the quiet thrill of watching a long putt curl exactly as you planned into the cup.

How to Play Mini Golf

Each hole shows a course drawn from a top-down view with your ball at the tee and the cup marked with a flag. To shoot, press and drag on the ball — a dotted aim line shows your direction, and dragging further back adds power. Release to strike. The ball rolls with realistic friction, bounces off walls and obstacles, and falls into the cup when it rolls in with enough momentum. A ball that lands in water or rolls out of bounds restarts the hole with a penalty stroke. Your goal is to finish each hole in as few strokes as possible; par for each hole is marked at the top. After nine holes your total is compared against the course par of 36.

Tips & Strategies

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the aiming mechanic work?

Press on the ball and drag in the opposite direction of your shot — like pulling back a slingshot. A dotted guide shows where the ball will travel, and dragging further from the ball increases power. Release to putt.

What is a good total score for nine holes?

The course par is 36. Breaking 36 means you played under par — genuinely good. Scores in the low 30s are excellent, and anything near 28-30 is a masterclass in putting.

What happens if the ball goes in the water?

A water ball is fished out and placed back at the tee (or the last safe spot) with a one-stroke penalty — the same rule real mini golf courses use. Out-of-bounds shots are handled the same way.
